Hello, I'm Micah known also online as Astra! I'm a North America based visual artist with a Chinese and Japanese background. My visual language is mainly focused on nature, space, urban lifestyle, with light animations.

I love drawing and creating things ever since I
can remember! My work is heavily influenced by Japanese animations, EDM music, and the gaming industry. Some works that have strongly influenced me over the years are the vibes Porter Robinson and Madeon have created through their music. The fantastical stories of Akira Toriyama and Hayao Miyazaki. And the beautiful worlds of Nintendo,
and Blizzard.

Creating a visual language isn't just a hobby for me, it is a lifestyle. My goal as a visual creator is to create picture with as much life and bad-assery as possible while keeping it simple and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes.
